Revived is presented as an overlay of rulings designed to be “quality of life” enhancements for OD&D (Original Dungeons and Dragons / White Box / 1974 D&D). In an effort to make the game more accessible, this collection of rulings allows new and experienced players to quickly streamline and enjoy OD&D. The rulings in Revived are meant to clarify and / or supercede certain rules listed within the three original volumes of the Dungeons & Dragons White Box (Vol. 1: Men & Magic, Vol. 2: Monsters & Treasure, and Vol. 3: The Underworld & Wilderness Adventures). Much effort and research has also gone into making certain aspects of the game more historically and physically accurate. All rulings in this book are designed to be compatible with OD&D and most OSR retro-clones.
